Welcome to DOJO Nanyang Kopi House, a standout coffee shop nestled in the heart of Miri at 47, Jalan Brooke, Sarawak, Malaysia. This delightful spot embodies the essence of a traditional kopitiam with a modern twist, offering an inviting atmosphere that is both clean and cozy — perfect for savoring a cup of coffee or indulging in a mouthwatering meal.
At DOJO, you can embark on a culinary journey through authentic Oriental cuisine, with dishes that are both bold in flavor and generous in portion. The menu features an array of local favorites that beckon your taste buds, such as the Curry Prawn with Gon Lou Mee (MYR 17.70) and the rich, aromatic Beef Rendang with Meehon (MYR 17.70). For chicken lovers, the Curry Chicken with Meehon (MYR 16.30) is a comforting choice, while seafood enthusiasts will relish the Curry Fish Head with White Noodle (MYR 17.70), a dish that is equally delightful on rice or noodles.
The atmosphere at DOJO Nanyang Kopi House is warm and inviting, a perfect setting whether you’re catching up with friends or simply enjoying a peaceful moment alone. The halal-certified establishment makes it an inclusive dining choice for all. Many patrons have praised the clean environment and the convenience of parking availability, especially after services on crowded Sundays. However, a few have noted variability in dish flavors, such as the Wat Dan Ho, which, while satisfying in size, could benefit from that elusive "wok hei." Despite these mixed reviews, the positive feedback on the beverages — heralded as top-notch — keeps customers returning.
Indulge in the coffee experience as well, which promises to exceed your expectations. The rich flavors transcended by local coffee culture provide a lovely accompaniment to your meal, making your visit to DOJO as much about the drinks as the dishes. The enticing Tuaran Mee Goreng (MYR 19.10) and the chefs' signature offerings like the DOZO Signature Fried Rice (MYR 20.50) further illustrate this coffee shop's dedication to providing a memorable experience.
In a locale rich with dining choices, DOJO Nanyang Kopi House stands out for its welcoming spirit, enticing menu, and community-focused atmosphere. Whether you're a local or visiting Miri, it’s a remarkable spot to savor authentic, flavorful dishes amidst a cozy backdrop. Give it a try — your taste buds will thank you!

Very impressed by the clean, cozy environment — a comfortable and halal-certified kopitiam, which is definitely a plus point. Managed to get parking and a table quite easily even after Sunday church service. However, my Wat Dan Ho was a bit of a letdown — it lacked flavour and definitely missed that “wok hei,” as Uncle Roger would say. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning for a second try. That said, I did enjoy a good and pleasant conversation with my friend in the relaxed atmosphere.

Exceeded expectations. Came with an empty stomach but still could not finish the coffee. Taste and quality are top tier. Price is a little on the higher side but reasonable for what it’s worth.

Recommended. All good. Food, staff, atmosphere. There’s a lot of menu u can choose. Also they have Tuaran mee. Taste was so nice. Having here for breakfast. I recommend laksa. But this laksa not a version sarawak. But more to Sabah taste laksa. Portion nice. Taste okay. No kids meal. Baby chair 4/5 clean. Place clean 5/5. Parking very hard to find. No parking provided by them. U have to find by your own self. Very hard to find the entrance road to come here. U have to use a Miri hotel entrance road.

Food is okay and portion is huge enough for me. Just feels odd to have fried seafoods for the Tuaran mee. Was expecting it to be stir fried together with the mee instead of standalone fried seafood as condiment. Other food is fine. Slight sweet on the beverage but taste is good! Will come back for sure for the drinks.
